Trent Summers keeps a smile on his face, even though he feels like he's dying inside. Since he was horribly knifed by a killer bear he's had trouble with anxiety and panic attacks. Knowing most of his friends are shifters and immune to such things doesn't help. Mace's mating with Roan gives him some hope, but a mate of his own is just a pipe dream. In the meantime, he has to put aside his fears and help his friends find rogue vampires - not exactly a cure for stress.

Prince Alexi Vandermot is getting more than a little pissed off at his coven leader. There are rogue vampires in town and he's ready to hunt them down. The problem is, his cousin keeps saying no. Things aren't improved when the police come to call, bringing a consultant with them. Shifters are one thing, but Alexi is floored to find the consultant is his mate...human, scared and straight.

Claiming a mate is one thing; keeping him safe is another. When the rogues are found to have family ties to the coven and one of them fancies a bite out of Trent, the coven and the pack have to work together to make sure the body count doesn't get any higher. When problems start to erupt inside of the coven as well, Alexi wonders if he'll ever have any time to get to know his anxious mate.

Warning This book is M/M, contains graphic content and coarse language. Trent suffers from panic attacks which some people might find a trigger and keep an eye on Kalel; he's taken to stealing hats.

I love all of Lisa Oliver's books and series. She always rights of full and complete stand alone book, not short stories or just a few chapters at a time. I understand the thought behind the series that are only a couple chapters of 1 full book, it makes more money. But as an avid reader, and on a strict budget, I find these series very frustrating. That being said, the act that the dialogue between characters and other references definitely are not American. For example, in the book the police keep referring to a "bolo", meaning the police are searching for a specific car and/or person. In America it is referred to as an "APB" meaning an All Point Bullion. There were a few slings and other words that just wouldn't be used by Americans. Ms. Oliver would do well to have an American help her with dialogue and other American used words for her stories based in the USA.

Now my review of this book, is it loved Trent and being introduced to new Paranormal beings. Alexis was harder to get a handle on, but I realized that's because he was having to change his thinking on dealing with being in a relationship as opposed to decades of one night stands.

The Pack and their connection with Trent was wonderful to see and watch it grow even stronger. I've grown very fond of Stockton, and can't wait for the next instalment. Let's hope there are more then just 1 more story in this series!

Don't Bite Stockton Wolves Book 4 edition by Lisa Oliver Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Trent has been one of my favorite characters in this series and I'm so happy that he got such an awesome HEA in this book. I'm not sure what Hugo was thinking throughout most of this book, but it felt like the vampires were rudderless a lot of the time. I did like that Alexi valued his chosen bond and his own integrity enough to break the rules that Hugo laid down and help deal with rogue vampires in the area.
My sweet sweet Trent. I loved how Trent held to his word that it didn't matter the sex, he just wants a mate and boy did he get one. I thought for a moment that Alexi was going to be a tough one to crack, but he proved to want his mate just as well if not more. I loved that the vampires in this book are different from what we normally get. Can't wait for the next book in this series I think we are in for a surprise.
I loved this story. Trent was simply adorable and funny. Alexi was the perfect gentleman. What's there not to love about such a sweet couple.

The story was the perfect mix between conflict and romance.

Definitely worth the reading. I haven't read the whole series, (just books 3 and 4), but I will definitely visit the rest of the characters in the near future.
I love any of Lisa Oliver's books. This one was a great addition to the Stockton Wolves series. True love & mating are no guarantee of an easy road to making a life together. Even a mind link doesn't guarantee no misunderstandings. But with perseverance and a willingness to push through the tough times, which include rogue vampires, panic attacks and angry friends and family, the MCs make it to their HEA.
#4 and just getting better. As always Lisa Oliver delivers a wonderful read with characters you can't help but fall in love with. Trent and Alexi are the main characters in this book but all the characters you have read about are there as well as they track a killer through the streets of Stockton. One of the things I love about a Lisa Oliver book is that she keeps her characters in the loop so that you can keep up with them and their lives after their books are done. Definitely recommend this book, this series, and this author.
Lisa Oliver has done it AGAIN!! I first fell in love with her writing when I read the Cloverleah series and then got into the Stockton Wolves series as well. Not only are her characters engaging, the situations are sometimes fun, sometimes tense, sometimes scary. She is able to grab me by the neck and drop me straight into the book. None of the books I have read have made me feel rushed or unfinished, each one is amazing in it's own right. But, read them in order and they are incredible! It's surprising I get any sleep at all when she announces a new one!!!
If you haven't had the pleasure of reading any of her fantastic stories, give her a shot. I'm absolutely positive you won't be let down.
Another wonderful read by Lisa Oliver. I loved the MCs, the plot and the villain. Even Hugo kind of grew on me! It was total fun for me. First, all the characters from previous books made their appearance and they all got into some action. The whole vampire council/snobberfest was awesome. Love it when some hoity toity vampires are brought down a peg or two. And Jude...oh boy, the king of idiocy and misunderstanding! Did he get things wrong! Note to self make sure your kids actually understand what you mean when you are talking to them!

It was funny, intense and enjoyable read! *fangirl time*
